In the heart of the Dutch city The Hague, a big new theatre complex is realized in 2021: Amare. Realizing this prestigious cultural and educational center required the design skills of multiple highly specialized companies, working together to achieve acoustic, technic, and creative state-of-the-art solutions. All stage techniques in the building are engineered and built by Trekwerk in collaboration with several partners.
Amare is the home of the internationally renowned “Nederlands Dans Theater”, the “Residentie Orchestra”, and The Royal Conservatoire; it brings dance, music, theater, and art together to a large audience. This educational and cultural center consists of four main halls, multiple rehearsal spaces, and classrooms.
