Sustainability plays a leading role in all of Trekwerk’s activities and products.
20 years of experience
In 2002, Trekwerk was the first company to build full regenerative fly-bar systems. At the time, the recuperation of energy from downwards movements to feed upwards motions, was a technical marble. Today, after 20 years of experience in this technology, all Trekwerk systems are equipped with energy recovery as a standard. We are a frontrunner in this technology. This regenerative breaking technology, in combination with extreme high efficiency Permanent Magnet motor technology minimises energy consumption to the minimum.
Yet, not only minimizing energy consumption is part of our environmental policy. All our solutions are subject to strict company rules regarding responsible usage of materials. Steel, oils, paint, wood, plastics, every material we chose are assessed during the design process with a green eye.

Life-time is obviously a key aspect of sustainability and we are proud to say that all of our installations fulfil the expected lifetime. Our well-balanced maintenance and replacement programs have ensured true sustainability for decades, and will continue to do so for decades to come.
